Tip of the Day:

I’ve got your tips on Have you always wanted to be that one person who everyone seems to like and admire? The one who teachers trust and respect, and yet isn't seen as a geek? Read on to find out how it is possible…

1. Be bright and cheerful as much as you can, without being annoying. No-one wants to be that person who never has a bad day and is always hyper. That person is annoying. Everyone has a bad day sometimes, and it should be admitted without being too melodramatic.

2. Remember that everyone has something to offer. That geek in the corner on his laptop could be your boss one day. Talk to everyone, because everyone deserves the right to a good life and friends. Everyone. Plus, talking to people that other people don't talk to makes you look confident and a nice person.

3. Listen in your lessons, and encourage your teachers to trust you. Hand in your homework on time, listen in class, don't talk too much in lessons and don't pass notes. This means that if on a bad day you don't have your homework, or have to leave early for example, teachers are more likely to believe and trust you.

4. Make sure you have clothes that clearly reflect who you are, and what you want to wear. Being fashionable is no good if you don't like what you're wearing, and just because it's fashionable it doesn't mean it suits everyone. If you wear a uniform for school, then add accessories to it, for example badges on your tie, or a nice necklace or wristband. This shows individuality, which is a very lovable quality.

5. Lovable people are those who have confidence in themselves and their beliefs. Don't change yourself to be more likable, because people will see right through you, and being something you're not won't make you happy.

6. Make sure that whatever you're doing is something you enjoy.

7. If you want to meet other people, try joining an after school/out of school club/activity. By doing something you enjoy, you'll meet other people who enjoy the same things and you have things in common with.

8. Smile! Just don't be cheesy. You want people to think you're friendly, not annoying.
