Good Day! How are you doing? I hope that you had an absolutely fabulous on this oh so super Wednesday. Today is the 27th of May 2008 and that of course means that it is the mid week Wednesday edition of the Morning Cruise…so Wednesday is here and for some reason Wednesday goes hand in hand with ladies and ladies night, now that is something that I never really understood. So ja if it’s you B-DAY or Anniversary on this cold, frosty and chilly autumns day I hope that you have a wonderful day and that you are spoilt by your family or loved ones coz you deserve it…or if you have just became a grandparent or a parent yourself then congratulations because those are all wonderful successes.

Moving onto today’s show we had all the usuals such as you’re Word of the Day, your SA Q&A, Information Guide, JobShop, and you’re Tip of the Day.

We had an interview with:

· Andreas Spath and h he spoke to us about the increase in food prices, the global shortage of food and how you and I are affected.

· We also spoke to Anthony Vraagboom and he is from the Toyfanatics Car Club and we’ll be chatting about the charity drive that the club is organizing.

Word of the Day:

CALLOW – to act immature

Trivial Question:

Q: Name the stadium that will act as a venue for World Cup 2010 matches?
A: Greenpoint Stadium

Tip of the Day:

I spoke about keeping warm this winter, so if you have been down because of the weather or it being so cold then keep listening because I have your Tip of the Day on keeping warm this winter…

1. Dress appropriately - Wear thin layers of clothes rather than one thick layer. Choose clothes made with wool, cotton, or fleecy synthetic materials.

2. Stay active - Don’t stay sitting still for long periods. Spread chores through day and alternate between rest and activity. Exercise without taking risks in wet or icy weather.

3. Eat well - Eat at least one hot meal a day. Sip hot drinks regularly throughout day and beforbedtime. Keep a flask of hot drink by your bed should you wake up feeling cold.

4. Prepare your home - Stock up on provisions in case it is too cold to go to the shops. Seal gaps around windows and doors.

5. Keep one another warm - Finally, huddle up close to a loved warm so you can keep each other warm. That's how our ancestors survived the cold winters when they lived in caves. They would huddle close together near the fire to keep warm.

Quote of the Day:

Samuel Johnson - The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good

It’s time for me to love and leave you. You must have oh so super Wednesday. Let’s chat again tomorrow…Much Love…Peace.
