A: Graham Smith

Tips of the Day:

I spoke about complaining like I said I’m going to talk about conflict and ways to deal with conflict, I’ll be giving you some tips shortly… Today’s tips are going to be just a little different; it will be in two sessions though…

1. Realize Conflict Isn’t A Bad Thing - Conflict can be a good thing. It resolves issues and gets issues taken care of.

2. Run to confrontation - By confronting quickly you get the issue taken care of and you are able to move on in whatever way you decide.

3. Deal with conflict face to face - When most of us want to confront the person we are upset with, 99% of the time we do it through e-mail or sms. Do NOT get into email or sms exchanges with people. Set up a meeting and handle the situation.

4. Don’t take it personal

5. Don’t confront while still angry - try to give yourself at least 24 hours to allow yourself to calm down.

Quote of the Day:

Henry Ellis - All the art of living lies in a fine mingling of letting go and holding on

It’s time for me to love and leave you. You must have oh so super Thursday. Let’s chat again on tomorrow…Much Love…Peace.
