Word of the Day:

PULVERISED - reduce to fine particles or defeat utterly

Trivial Question:

Q: In what year was Nelson Mandela released?
A: 1990

Tip of the Day:

I spoke about drugs and the devastating effects towards parents … Don’t be afraid to say no to devious drug addicts. One of the hardest things for parents and families of addicts is to know whether the addict in their lives is being honest or not. So here are some tips for parents to look out for in their children…

Part: 1

1. Pretend to be going to school, college or church to get pocket money.
2. Ask money for a pie and a cool drink or any luxury.
3. Request money for an important school item or outing.
4. Create conflict between parents.
5. Pretend to be ill or depressed. Make parents feel guilty.
6. Pretend to be nice to win parents and family over.
7. Become argumentative asn abusive when accused of drugging.
8. Appear to be very hurt when accused or even found with evidence.

Part: 2

9. Slam doors, break things and become abusive to show how hurt they are.
10. Constantly try to seek sympathy from the weaker parent.
11. Constantly bad-mouth a parent to make themselves look good or neglected.
12. Never accept “no” for an answer.
13. Go on nagging until parents give in to their demands.
14. Must have things their way.
15. Never see themselves as being wrong.
16. Things must always be the way they see them and not as they really are.
17. Unwillingness to face the consequences of their actions.
18. Expect to be bailed out of any situations out of sympathy.

Quote of the Day:
