Good Day! How are you doing? I hope that you well and oh so good. Today is the 16th of July 2008 and that of course means that it is the mid week Wednesday edition of the Morning Cruise…ooh so we smack in the middle I’m loving it must say that so far my morning has been pretty good I didn’t have to stress about the train being late, getting to work on time or even waking up and wanting to go to bed for some more sleep.

Now in today’s show, I’ll be bringing you all the usuals such as your Word of the Day, your SA Q&A, you’re daily Information Guide and your Tip of the Day, but this also includes a financial feature on the MC every Wednesday so next week the exact same feature will take place just after nine …in fact it’s up next…dis die tweede episode van WEES FINASIEEL FLINK MET FNB… So ja as jy vandag n verjaarsdag of as dit jou huwelik’s herdenking is dan baie baie geluk ek hoop dat jou dag en jaar vol vregued sal wees …

We also had interviews with:

· Muriel Hofer from the South African Gymnastics Federation and she spoke to us about world rope skipping championships being held this month.

· We also spoke to documentary with about the use of laughter in children’s hospitals.

· Lastly we spoke to a member of Cosatu and that interview will centralise around high electricity prices which could result in a loss of jobs.

Word of the Day:

GRAVITAS - High seriousness

Trivial Question:

Q: On which day do we celebrate heritage day?
A: 24th of September

Tips of the Day:

So I’ve got your tips and I’m actually exited I have to admit…It’s normal to be mad at the person who died. They left. It is normal to feel alone. You probably are, but, you must continue to find your way on earth without them.

1. Yell, scream, cry, and hit a pillow.

2. Give yourself permission to be angry and stop fighting yourself.

3. Keep a journal. Write down each time you feel angry. What triggered the thought? How long did you feel angry for? What did you do about it and why? After a weeks worth of keeping the journal, can you find a pattern?

4. Channel your negative energy through something positive. For some it might be running the energy out. Others might do better with painting. Others might sing, write music etc.

5. Treat yourself kindly. Nurture your body. Eat healthy foods. Take a warm bath. It is never improper to care for oneself.

6. Avoid the quick fix. Alcohol, and other mind-altering drugs in the moment, might give your brain the chance to relax, but after the initial high, the crash will bring you to a lower place.

7. Accept help when offered. Every person needs help every once and a while, and you may even do another person a favor by allowing him or her to assist someone in need. If no one offers help, seek it out.

8. Try to forgive yourself. You may not be ready. You may never feel completely ready, but explore the possibilities of forgiveness.

9. Stop trying to model yourself after your friends and family. No two people grieve in the same way.

Quote of the Day:

VINCE LOMBARDI - You are where you are and what you are because of the thoughts that dominate your mind

It’s time for me to love and leave you. You must have oh so super Wednesday. Let’s chat again tomorrow…Much Love…Peace.
