by Denisia

Hay there how you doing today, hope alls well. All is definitely well with the Morning Cruise today. Today was Omniscient Tuesday where we keep you know all day...well at least from 9am - 12pm every Tuseady only on the Morning Cruise.

We brought the daily features such as the WORD OF THE DAY, S.A TRIVIA QUESTION, DID YOU KNOW FACTS, TIP OF THE DAY, INFO GUIDE and interesting interviews.

We also dicussed various things one in particular was "Modern Love" aka online dating. Is this really the new way of meeting your soulmate? Is it right? I must admit I'm old school and I definitely prefer meeting face to face. When you look into someone's eyes you can really tell who they are or if they lieing and how many times have you encounter someone claiming to be what they not on the net sending fake pictures of themselves etc. Well, that's just my opinion anyway I think it's senseless and dangerous............But Back to the show

WORD OF THE DAY

CURT (kurt) : rudely brief in speech or abrupt in manner

S.A TRIVIA QUESTION

Qu. What South African Provinces’ name means: Land of the rising sun?

A - Limpopo , B- Kwazulu Natal or C – Mpumalanga.

Ans. C – Mpumalanga.

.........Here's some facts on Mpumalanga:
Throughout the Mpumalanga hills and mountains exist hundreds of examples of San art. These rock art sites have provided a visual window through which we have been able to gain a better understanding of the lives and culture of these hunter-gatherers who inhabited the area centuries before the arrival of the Nguni people from the north.

DID YOU KNOW:

A Woman sat dead in front of TV for 42 years
Her remains was found sitting in front of her TV - 42 years after she was reported missing.
Her name Hedviga Golik, who was born in 1924 in Croatia, had apparently made herself a cup of tea before sitting in her favourite armchair in front of her black and white television.
Her neighbours thought she had moved out of her flat.

ALSO……… DID YOU KNOW The slogan on New Hampshire license plates is 'Live Free or Die'. These license plates are manufactured by prisoners in the state prison in Concord.

TIP OF THE DAY
Today’s tip of the day is about How to Enjoy Life in a Bad Economy

If you have lived in a bad economy for a while, and can't enjoy life, get familiar with your possibilities. Check out your area, find things that motivate you, look for things to do constantly.

Obtain a camera, and take photos, this is a great way to make dull surroundings interesting again. Creativity is a great way to enjoy yourself.

Meet people! Having a good conversation with friends is always great fun. You don't need money for that.

Go hiking! Nature is full of change and energy, and in many cases, it's inexpensive or free. Take friends and your camera for the best experience. Go swimming and fishing. Climb trees. Go camping at an inexpensive spot.

Reading, taking a walk in the park, stargazing at night, fishing, pottery can all be great fun. You really don't need a lot of money for those.

Don't use gas, water or electricity when you don't need it. This will save money. Or just get off the grid, you'll help to save your environment this way too.

Bring music into your daily life. For many people around the world who struggle with a bad economy every day, song and dance provide a way to come together and have fun without spending anything. If you don't have the means to play music or instruments, you can make your own! Learn to sing and beatbox.
