***BEST OF THE BEST***

Good Day! How are you doing? I hope that you are absolutely fabulous on this oh so good Monday. I hope and trust that you are fabulous and fantastic on this Monday morning…all fully geared for the week that lays ahead…Now on Friday’s I give you a MC Weekend Weather Forecast…Today I’ve got another Weather Forecast – but for the week ahead… so catch that MC Week – A – Head Forecast… Just a reminder…Today is the 3rd of November 2008 and that of course means that it’s the Monday Edition of the Morning Cruise… So the first week of the new month it’s November so the big days are not far away many of us looking forward to our workloads becoming less some of us even going on vacation… So that brings us to your MC Week – A – Head Forecast… So this week ahead looks…apparently we are going to some beautiful sunny weather with temperatures reaching in the 20’s thank goodness for now no showers are expected, but it won’t be that cold… the highest temperature for the week is degrees in the afternoon and then 14 degrees in the highest temperature that the day will start out 26 degrees…not too bad…

Word of the Day:

VEXATIOUS – troublesome or annoying e.g. A vexatious situation

Trivial Question:

Q: Name the third oldest Western Cape Town?
A: Paarl

Did You Knows:

Fathers tend to determine the height of their unborn child, mothers the
weight…Here another fascinating fact for your FYI… A person uses
approximately fifty-seven sheets of toilet paper each day

We had interviews with:

Renato Palmi from the Red Dress Consultancy which is a research based organization specializing in fashion and the impact on South Africans. Well today on MC we spoke to Renato about children’s fashion – is children’s fashion promoting sexual exploitation.

We’ve also got an interview after that lined up with Disaster Management spokesperson Wilfred Solomons Johannes and he be joined me on the line to speak about Guy Fawkes – warning and reminding the public about the rules and regulations on this day.

Later on we were joined by Patricia Kumalo and Inga Verwy and they’ll be joining me in the studio to chat about Micro MBA Business Training.

Tip of the Day:

I’ve got your tips on ways to stop people from judging you by the way you dress… Do you not have the latest fashions? Do people not understand you for who you are because of the way you dress?

1. Smile. By smiling you're showing everyone 'I'm happy. And I think I look good. I don't care what you think of me. Nothing can bring me down.

2. Stand up straight. If you slouch, people may get the vibe that you're trying to hide yourself. If they think your trying to hide yourself, they might try to figure out why and make things worse for you.

3. Act confident. Don't just act like you don't care. Just don't. Who cares what others say or think of you? They might be jealous, but most likely, they're just bored with themselves. If they have nothing better to talk about than what you're wearing, maybe they better check their priorities.

4. Don't dumb yourself down. If you dumb yourself down people will have no problem making fun of that stupid person who doesn't dress nice. Have something smart to say.

5. Stick up for yourself. Don't be mean, just defend yourself.

6. Kill them with kindness. Go up to them everyday and say one nice thing to them. If they harass you more, keep doing it. If they just stand there continue doing it. People have a hard time handling nice people.
