Good Day! How are you doing? I hope that you are absolutely fabulous on this oh so good Tuesday. By know you should know that Tuesdays here on MC is all about keeping you in the know…that our job and our duty so we’ve choose to dub it as Omniscient Tuesday…Just a quick reminder if you didn’t know then now you know today of course is the 21st of October 2008…well as a result I hope and trust that so far you’re morning has been completely fabulous or just plain fantastic… If it’s your birthday then happy birthday your birthday is on the 301st day of 2008, bet you didn’t know that, but regardless from all of us here on MC…So lately I have had some really strange and odd dreams you know the kind when you wake up the next morning you thinking to yourself what was that…On Saturday I even had a nightmare and when I had to go to the bathroom guess what I was to scared… Dreams can be fun, but not if they quickly turn into nightmares. Here's all you need to know to stop having those scary nightmares! But you no longer need to be scared because I have ways to stop nightmares in it’s tracks

1. Find a happy place.

2. Think happy thoughts.

3. Talk to someone about your dreams.

4. Attempt to manipulate your nightmare.

5. Relax.

Word of the Day:

CLOTISH – Energetic and awkward in ones movement or behaviour

Trivial Question:

Q: Name the winners in the 2008 Currie Cup Final?
A: The Sharks

Did You Knows:

The white part of your fingernail is called the lunula… Another interesting fact… It takes the food seven seconds to get from your mouth to your stomach.

We had interviews with:

Renato Palmi from the Redress Consultancy which is a research based organization specializing in fashion and the impact on South Africans. Well today on MC we spoke to Renato about children’s fashion – is children’s fashion sexual exploitation.

We also featured an interview Patrick O’leary from Fleet Watch and he a spoke about the brake and tire checks that they are running on all trucks to check if these trucks are roadworthy. We also found out that Cape Town is worst off in terms of the amount of trucks on the road not is not roadworthy.

We wrapped up our series of interviews with Disaster Management spokesperson Wilfred Solomons Johannes and he joined me on the line to speak about Guy Fawkes – warning and reminding the public about the rules and regulations on this day.

Tip of the Day:

I’ve got your tips on ways to speak confidently to intimidating people… Have you ever had an intimidating person make you stay silent and you didn't had any courage to talk? Well, things are about to change…

* Boost up your confidence. Are those 'intimidating people' really more important than you? What do they have that's so special? If they possess only the superfluous, such as money, power, or popularity, then you'll quickly realize that they are not that important. What is more likely to stand out: one's popularity during a couple of years of school, or a nice personality for a lifetime? Recognize your most shining qualities, and you will see that your real virtues are more important than any amount of money or popularity.

* Show that you are confident. Now you've released how important you really are, it's time to show you're more confident. Walk with posture, but still be comfortable. Walk normally, but don't slouch!

* Look straight in their eyes to show that you're not afraid and talk to them; direct eye contact is taken as a challenge. Showing you are not afraid to do this could make them question going through with anything. Looking at other side when they come to talk to you will just show you're not feeling courageous enough to talk to them.

* Speak clearly. Don't mumble, or speak too quietly. That way, those intimidating people will understand what you say, while looking in their eyes, speak your mind like you don't care. If they try to pull you down, just stand up straight and let them know they can't rule your life and they are no any better than anyone else.

* Be nice and polite, but don't let any of them walk over you, speak up.

* Don't get cocky. If you take on arrogance they may become annoyed with you and try these tricks on YOU.
