TIP OF THE DAY (http://www.ehow.com/)
How to Make Decisions Easier
Step 1

Don't make decisions while stressed or under pressure. When you recognize that you're being forced to make a quick decision, step back and wait until the situation cools before making up your mind.
Step 2
Pay attention to your "gut feeling" when making decisions. No one knows why we get those flashes of inspiration that can't be logically explained but often times they're right. Don't disregard your instincts.
Step 3
Consider other points of view. Make sure you're analyzing the situation from all possible angles. You may come across a perspective that you hadn't considered.
Step 4
Learn from your mistakes. Remember the consequences of similar past decisions. When making decisions you'll want to include the historical perspective - did it turn out well the last time you chose in the same way?
Step 5
Take your time. There's no harm in taking your time in making decisions that could have a lasting consequences. Go for a walk, take a bath, take your time.
