Good Day! How are you doing? I hope that you had an absolutely fabulous on this oh so super Wednesday. Today is the 4th of June 2008 and that of course means that it is the mid week Wednesday edition of the Morning Cruise…so Wednesday is here mmm and just like we in the middle of the week, we also bang in the middle of June… Now I heard some people talking yesterday, saying that they can’t wait for summer to start because all this wet and rainy weather is way to much mmm now if that sounds just like you, you are not alone I’m sure many feel exactly the same. Moving onto today’s show we had all the usuals such as you’re Word of the Day, your SA Q&A, Information Guide, JobShop, and you’re Tip of the Day.

We also featured interviews on:

· Today’s interviews were with Lesley Shackelton from Hers SA.

· We also spoke to Denise Grible from the Mitchell’s Plain Educare Forum. If you would like to now more about the forum call (021) 376 5531.

Word of the Day:

SLAVER – to drool or slobber

Trivial Question:

Q: Where is the South African Parliament located?
A: Cape Town

Tip of the Day:

Now earlier I spoke about insults I even asked a question …Have you ever been insulted by someone?…Then this is the right place because I have tips on how to …

· Listen to what the insulter says with a pleasant look on your face. However, be aware that smiling or laughing could be a psychological sign of defense in these circumstances.

· Do not show anger or fear of any kind, which will only give your insulter satisfaction.Upon completion of the insult(s), offer your insulter a quirky smile.

· Laughing in a breathy, gleeful way is quite effective in situations such as a nonchalant, "Oh, you!"

· Proceed to stare your insulter directly in the eye for an uncomfortable period of time. Five seconds should do it. Staring intently will most likely cause the insulter to walk away.

· As your insulter walks away, remember people who insult feel
intellectually inferior to you
, that's why resort to rude insults. You can call after them in a high-pitched voice, "Okay. Catch ya later," causing them to wonder what is going on?

Quote of the Day:

Ralph Waldo Emerson - Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail

It’s time for me to love and leave you. You must have oh so super Wednesday. Let’s chat again tomorrow…Much Love…Peace.
