ALSO FEATURED:
An interview with recovering drug addict and drug awareness activist, Steve Hamilton. He joined me in the studio this morning discussing the truth about drugs according to Steve, “Drugs Are Cool – But They’ll Kill You.” Steve has been touring South Africa and neighbouring countries for the last twenty years with his road show for schools and presentations for Teachers, Parents and Corporate companies. We also discussed his book published in 2002, I Want My Life Back available at Exclusive books as well as his great concern for the youth. Steve engages with the youth/adolescents regularly especially whilst on tour and Steve says the youth/kids have forgotten to dream, to really dream. So why is this? Is it the Broken Window theory? This means for instance if you continue to remind people they stay in the “Cape Flats” (not known for it’s wonderful scenery if you know what I mean) you give them the impression that that’s their worth.
