TIP OF THE DAY
Things to do in your free time
How to Enjoy Reading

Find a small place where you can set up your reading center. Make sure it's comfortablen and has good lighting. A small table nearby is handy.

Imagine in your mind the setting of what you're reading.

Imagine what would happen in the situation if you were there.

Visualize the characters. Your version doesn't have to match what the author describes exactly, and it's okay if they have the face of somebody you know.

Enjoy a snack with your book. Pick some delicious food such as parfaits, salad, fruit smoothie, or even chopped up fruit. This trick always raises any mood.

Get comfortable. If it is a rainy day, cuddle up with a blanket and coffee, tea or hot milk. It will make you feel appreciated.

WE ALSO FEATURED:
An interview with the Maitland CID (City Improvement District). That interview was all about how they’ve been trying rid their community of crime to make it a more safer and cleaner area for businesses and the communit at large.

We also played an interview we did with a member of the Tape Aids for the blind organisation. Tape Aids is a audio library providing the visually impaired with reading materials to keep them informed and educated.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

Henry David Thoreau:
However mean your life is, meet it and live it: do not shun it and call it hard names. Cultivate poverty like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Things do not change, we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts.

That’s it for the Morning Cruise, where we cruise through your weekday here on BushRadio 89.5fm live on your stereo between 9am – 12pm with me Denisia Adams. Take Care ... make the best of your day and Keep the Faith. Stay Real……!!!!!!!!!!
