WORD(s) OF THE DAY

caitiff \KAY-tif\ : cowardly and mean
or a mean, cowardly person

S.A TRIVIA QUESTION
When was the South African flag first used? A – Human Rights day B – Freedom Day C – Day of Reconcilation

and the answer is: B – Freedom Day

here’s some info:
South Africa’s national flag was launched and used for the first time on Freedom Day, 27 April 1994. The design and colours are a synopsis of the principal elements of the country’s flag history.
The central design of the flag, beginning at the flag-pole in a “V” form and flowing into a single horizontal band to the outer edge of the fly, can be interpreted as the convergence of diverse elements within South African society, taking the road ahead in unity. The flag was designed by the
State Herald.

DID YOU KNOW
Months that begin on a Sunday will always have a "Friday the 13th." Also do you know that Earth is the only planet not named after a god. Then lasyly did you know: Some worms will eat themselves if they can't find any food!

Take deep breaths, in through your nose. Out through your mouth.

Think about things that make you happy, such as a calming place, or a good childhood memory.
Find something that relaxes you like reading or music. You can even dance to the music, to let go of stress.

Straighten the situation out as calmly as you can. The more you take on situations in this manner, the more you'll be able to do it more.

Talk to a friend who you trust.

Count to 10. Also, if you are learning another language, you can count to ten in that language. This helps to focus your mind on something else.

Walk away from everybody. Give yourself some time to think things over
Make sure someone knows where you're going, or you have a cellphone in hand if an emergency happens to occur.

If the situation is truly overwhelming, then having a good cry can make you feel a little better. Limit the cry, though.
