The Morning Cruise: In Conversation with The Strandfontein Lifeguards Team, and Janine Maritz, founder of the La Culla Safe Haven for Babies

On January 29th, we talked with the Strandfontein Lifeguards team about swimming safety, what to do in the event of an emergency, and access to swimming lessons.  The club has a long history of keeping people safe, both through drowning prevention and first aid.  If you are interested in getting involved as a lifeguard or making a donation, you can get in contact with them via their Facebook page.

Then we talked to Janine from La Culla Safe Haven for Babies, an organization dedicated to providing comprehensive care to infants in need.  Janine shared her words of wisdom: If you can, you must.  A powerful message that we all have something to contribute.
