The Indipam Spiritual Legacy Foundation

 The Morning Cruise 1/31

On Wednesday, January 31st, we spoke to Pam Tosh, and Mandy White, from the IndiPam Spiritual Legacy Foundation, a non-profit organization doing outreach work among the homeless at Lansdowne train station and residents of the Flamingo Heights shanty town in the area.

We talked about Mandy's book 'Suicide Salad' which uses a salad bowl as a metaphor for all the things someone deals with in life, and a dressing as the 'sauce' you add to it to deal with all the different things filling up your bowl.  You can learn more about the book here.

We also talked about the connection between healing protecting your own energy and serving others.  It reminded me of the saying 'You can't pour from an empty cup.'  By working on yourself and healing, you are in a better place to help those in your community.  You can learn more about Indipam and how you can get involved on their Facebook here.
