HOW to avoid being MUGGED
1.If you waiting to be collected, try waiting inside a building and not outside.

2.Walk around assertively and confidently. Always try to make eye contact with people round you.
3.Carry bag around your neck or clutch your bag and keep it in front of you, but don’t carry it on your shoulder.
4.Put wallet in a coat with pockets on the inside or in your pockets in front and not the back of your pants.
5.Walk in well-lit busy streets and walk in a group, if possible.
6.If you suspect that a pedestrian is following you, go to the nearest well-lit or busy area and call the police.
7.If a vehicle follows you, never try to outrun it. Turn and walk in the opposite direction. Yell or shout, if possible.
8.Carry money or phone cards for emergency phone calls.
9.Hide your cellphone and don’t walk around talking on a cellphone, it will distract you from what is going on around you.
10.Avoid going out unnecessarily after hours.
