TIP OF THE DAY
How to Surround Yourself with Positive People
By

There's an old saying that goes, "Birds of a feather flock together." More often than not, this old saying has proven to be true. Persons that do bad things have to be around others who do bad things. Many ex-cons can spot other ex-cons. Even when there is a room full of one ethnic group, more often than not a person of a different ethnic group would feel most uncomfortable not being able to flock with birds of the same feather as him. Well, the same hold true for people who are positive. They like to be among other positive people. Positive people tend to think alike and fuel themselves from each other's positive vibes. If you are a positive person, follow these steps, and other positive people will flock to you.

Step1 Smile. One sure way to attract a positive person is to smile. Smiling is an exercise that requires far less energy than frowning. A smile on one's face usually indicates there is love in one's heart, and when someone sees that smile, it is a clear pathway to a friend. A smile can also be the signal that someone who is downtrodden needs to see to be a source of uplift thereby turning her negative spirit into a positive one.

Step2 Think positively. Norman Vincent Peele is the guru of positive thinking. His entire premise rests on the fact that the mind is the storehouse of power, and it is up to us to decide if negative power will take up residency or if positive power will reign in our minds. In order to think positively, it usually requires that you believe good things can and will happen for not only yourself but also for those around you.
Step3 Say the right things as often as one can. It is not all the time that one can say what others want to hear. However, it is feasible to believe that in order to attract positive people, one has to say positive things. For example, a simple "Good morning" from a negative person may warrant this response, "What's so good about it?" However, a positive person will try to say the right thing by meeting a nice good morning with an even more cheerful "Great morning." Saying the right things means that positive words have been spoken into existence and they will manifest themselves as such.

WE ALSO FEATURED:
