Morning Cruise Update

23 November 2007.

Hello There. How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? I hope you’re doing good. The weekend is here, so you can rest if you want, but just remember, you have to go and work on Monday hey? HAHEHIHOHU. On that note, this is what happened on the show.

10:35 We spoke to the MEC for Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape, Mr. Marius Fransman about a Jobs Portal that one can make use of. So, if you’re unemployed you may make use of this service. It is a website you can visit and upload your details and who knows, you might find yourself to have a job soon. If you find yourself to not be as skilled in computers, don’t worry, you’re not alone. I am sure you’ll get help at the library or internet café etc. So, for more info, you may make use of the details below.

11:05 For our second interview, we spoke to Bradley and Kirsten from The Western Cape Musicians Association (WCMA). They have an open day this coming Monday which I think is a must for people doing music. The Association aims to help musicians with all kinds of things relating to music. Regular workshops will be held, so keep your eyes open for them. If you wish to go and check out the open day, this is the address.

Our quote for this morning was: When we learn to give thanks, we are learning to concentrate not on the bad things, but on the good things in our lives. - Amy Vanderbilt (1908-1974), Etiquette

Well, that’s how we end for today. So, from me Adrian, You must have a lekker weekend, see you on Monday, have a good one, HAVE FUN.
