Interview with Glen Hilton Robertson

GLEN HILTON ROBERTSON

On the morning cruise we had the multi-talented creative Glen Hilton Robertson who is an umbrella of things, from singer, dancer and owner of a jazz band to working behind the scenes on DVD’s, CD’S and even E-storybooks as well as running programmes for the SABC.

Growing up and coming from Salt River, Glenn spent 10 years of his life playing in Jazz Clubs in Cape Town. Mr Robertson married his co-singer and friend Michelle Saville who sang with him in the band “Stitch”. Glenn was approached by Paul Daniel to join his people in a full-time capacity as an Associate Pastor and Music Director.

Whilst being in a full time ministry at His People Christian Church as the Music and Creative Arts Pastor, Glenn still felt a stirring in his heart to do something more attached to music and creative arts this is where the start of Kaleidoscope which is a church based in Claremont, Cape Town came about.

Glenn also fronts the Glenn Robertson Jazz Band on vocals and has been playing at various high profiled functions. He has also been involved with Fundraisers for various causes and communities in Cape Town.
