From Africa to Europe with Mahleek

 

Marlon and Mahleek interview on the morning cruise show with Mkhuseli Khusi Veto:

The morning cruise was joined by Mahleek Wilson and his parents, Marlon and Petula Wilson –  Coming from a community driven by the love of sports both Marlon and Petula’s core purpose is to ensure that their children succeeds in whatever they may do. Mahleek has been selected to play in Europe but as funds is an issue, this is a call to the listeners, readers and organizations for any sort of sponsorships – Let’s see what they had to say.

Marlon set nothing but a good example for Mahleek having played a huge role in Mahleek choosing football as his primary sport – Marlon has been coaching at Kensington’s community football team and has previously been active on the field as a player. Mahleek, aged 9, started playing football at the age of 4 years old when he joined Kensington’s community team but as he got older, he sharpened his skills as a young footballer and is now playing for Hellenic FC in Kensington – fuelled by the sport and dedicated to becoming a great footballer, Mahleek was then selected to play in Europe as part of a competition for 2 weeks at a cost of R45 000. It is Mahleek’s dream to pursue a career in football and   Europe being the hub for some of the greatest footballers to date, this opportunity would mean the world to him. Helping the cause, Petula and Marlon will be hosting fundraisers in order to get a start on what they would need to send Mahleek to Europe.
