From R&B to TrapSoul, BXBY GEE does it all

This Thursday we had in the studio artist and songwriter; Sibahle Mulumba or better known as BxBY GEE, who came to tell about her love for music.

Sibahle is a 19-year-old artist from Gugulethu, Cape Town. Her passion started around the age of 10 and at 12 she was already writing down songs. BXBY GEE made a notable entrance into the music scene with her debut single; 'Gorilla' at only 15 years old. She tells us that right now she doesn't like that song anymore because she transformed as an artist and her creativity changed into something different, which feels more like her.

Her genre of music is hard to describe, she uses musical styles like Afrobeats, soul, TrapSoul, house music and even R&B, the last one she likes the most. A while ago she graduated from Bridges Academy for Music, where she expanded her horizons. That's where the song "Guap" was created and later on "Tsamaye" and not that long ago she released the song "Minute" which was about a big crush she had on somebody. In the future we can expect a new song coming out where she talks about being played by an ex. This shows her talent of bringing up personal issues or experiences and transforming them into a new hit!
