Tasty Tuesday- Shameen Khalfe Owner of Seafood net on Wheels

 

Shameen Khalfe owner of Seafood net on wheels, right next to Bush Radio. Her food is halaal. Shameen said that she has been in business for quite some time, it started in retail and then she extended it as a take away. She got a trailer and eventually called it Seafood net on Wheels; it became a fast food on wheels. Her inspiration to start her business came from wanting to try to do something and she always puts her best foot forward. She has been in business from a young age as her father has a toyshop; from there she opened a food shop.

 

Her food truck is situated in Saltriver and the operation days are from Monday- Saturday and the hours are 9:00- 17:00, depending also, on how busy she is then she will stay later. She loves fish, however there is not one specific favorite or famous dish, everyone buys everything. She is not in competition with anyone; she focuses on what she needs to do to be better. The advice that she would give someone starting in her industry is patience and to set a goal. She feels that especially for the younger generation to set goals and stick to it. If you do not have patience and enjoy what you are doing, do not do it, she says.

 

She is not on social media, but it is something she is planning on doing.
