Today we were lucky enough to interview Yamke beautiful artist from Johannesburg, We talked about her upcoming music and how she came to be such a wonderful artist.

About her

Yamke, a young vocalist from the little town of Sankobe in Mqanduli, Eastern Cape, is proudly presented by Showthemflames Records. Yamke, whose real name is Yamkela Sigagayi, is a singer-songwriter who takes her cues from her heritage, having studied under the great Thandiswa Mazwai.

About her new album

Themes of love, optimism, faith, and futuristic fantasy are central to her musical palette. Her ascent to fame started modestly when she posted touching videos of herself singing with her brother on social media and unintentionally kindled hope in the hearts of many.

His debut album displays his vocal prowess and variety with a blend of catchy compositions and reflective melodies.

Yamke has really been able to expand his musical horizons, especially since signing to Showthemflames Records, a multi-winning-award label.

With plans to perform beyond Africa's borders, Yamke would like to sing all over the world in order to unite and heal through the universal language of music.
