The Queen of Crops

Today on the Morning Cruise Show we have an extraordinary guest, She is the owner of the Dawana  Fresh Produce. Ncumisa breaks all stereotypes of Agriculture being a man made sector. It is the one and only Ncumisa Mkabile The Queen of Agriculture.

She is a self-taught farmer  all the way from Khayelitsha, Cape Towns biggest townships. She has made wonders for herself during the hard times of lockdown. She had her own shop where she used to sell fast food to create an income until covid and the country was under locked down and then she had to close her business down.

Instead of sitting down and dwelling about this unfortunate circumstance, she got up found herself delivering food products for someone she know but with that she saw an opportunity of how about she does the same thing and also learn how to make some of these foods. A few months down the line she learnt how to farm her own products and now she is Cape Town's favourite award winning farmer.

 

  She is an ambassador for for Blue Ribbon Ambassador, (Realise A Dream) RAD competition winner in 2022, Standard Bank Ambassador, Bar One Brand Ambassador and AFASA WCYL ( African Farmers Association of South Africa  - Western Cape Youth League).
