He emphasized that waiting for the "perfect moment" will only hold you back—there will always be challenges, whether it's a lack of resources, support, or the right timing. Drawing from his own experience, he explained how NOVAR was built despite using outdated equipment and working under difficult conditions. Their head of software engineering, for instance, operates from a remote village in Limpopo with limited internet access, often having to step outside to download files. Yet, instead of waiting for ideal circumstances, they pushed forward with what they had, believing in their vision. Marvin urged aspiring entrepreneurs and innovators to do the same: trust in yourself, block out doubts from others, and take that first step.
