TIP OF THE DAY (www.ehow.com)
How to End Cell Phone Addiction
Are you salivating at the chance to pre-purchase the new Iphone 3Gs? Then you may be a techno-junkie. You need to stop the profiteering rape of your wallet NOW!!
Step 1
We have all fell victim to techno-addiction, an addiction to keeping in touch at all costs. Is this really necessary. The internet is a blessing and so is keeping in touch through email, cell phone and instant messaging, but it is becoming an addiction. The smart phones have truly amplified our ability to send and receive timely information but it is not necessary to constantly have them charged and on as we have all come to rely on. The first step is to get a home phone. That way we have a second number and do not need to explicitly rely on having one voice mail and one source of communicative flow twenty-four seven.
Step 2
The next step is to remember the number. I know this sounds ridiculous but if we remember the number we will give it out. Also, it will began a series of savings. The home phone doesn't need all those extras like three-way calling and long distance, that what the cell phone is for but you do not need to have unlimited everything on the cell phone contract. With both being minimally used you will ultimately save money and sanity. Let the two work together and get your instant information from your computer's internet connection. Check it three times a day Step 3
This last step is the painful one, stop im and texting at once. Go one week without then reassess your needs. It is truly liberating mentally and financially. Do these steps and you will be blessed at peace and at rest.

WE ALSO FEATURED:
We did a replay of our Morning Cruise-lite show due to the fact that my interviews all were occupied in meetings or workshops (funny but true). We spoke about how to live-lite in this time of recession. So we discussed how to monitor one’s electricity consumption effectively and lastly we touched on SAVING with a financial adviser.

QUOTE OF THE DAY
Aristotle
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

That’s it for the Morning Cruise, where we cruise through your weekday here on BushRadio 89.5fm live on your stereo between 9am – 12pm with me Denisia Adams. Take Care ... make the best of your day and Keep the Faith. Stay Real!!!!!!!!!!
